This will be the second film by Farley of Jersey Shore fame, the first being Devon, released in 2024. The found footage horror movie starred Lauren Carlin, Steven Etienne, and Rotisha Geter.

'I Had a Short Fuse': Stephen Amell Reflects on the Struggles of Shooting Arrow
Image
Arrowstar Stephen Amell recently opened up about the struggles he faced while filming the popular CW series. He also shared his early experiences interacting with fans online.

Amell played billionaire playboy turned vigilante Oliver Queen in all eight seasons of the show that launched the Arrowverse for The CW, and while the role skyrocketed him to fame, it wasn’t all positive experiences for Amell. Speaking with Variety, he described his experience as like being “shot out of a cannon” and admitted that he never really enjoyed shooting 10 months out of the year - despite being extremely grateful for Arrow. “The first two or three years of Arrow, I was gripping so tight. I was white-knuckling it,” Amell said, speaking about what he learned from the show.

'They Were So Happy Over There': Arrow Stars Agree on Their Favorite Arrowverse Crossover
Image
Arrow stars Emily Bett Rickards and David Ramsey have revealed their favorite Arrowverse crossover. Starring Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow, The CW series spawned a universe of interconnected shows, including The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Batwoman, with Supergirl and Black Lightning eventually joining the fold.

Rickards and Ramsey were at Megacon, where the pair responded to Cbr's question regarding which show they most enjoyed crossing over with the most. "I liked going to The Flash because they were so happy over there," Rickards said. Ramsey discussed the difficult logistics and problems with tonality that came with making The Flash and Arrow crossovers happen but still enjoyed them. He especially enjoyed seeing Amell in Grant Gustin's Flash suit. "They were logistical nightmares," he said. "The Flash was on the other side of the wall and couldn't be more different. It was bright and had milkshakes. Stephen in the Flash suit.

'I Thought It Was Me': Arrow's Mystery Grave Season Had All of the Cast Afraid They Were Getting Killed Off
Image
Arrow aired on The CW for 8 seasons, 170 episodes, and launched a TV universe that spanned across eight different shows. The first episode of Arrow’s Season 4 features Oliver Queen standing over an unknown grave, and whose it was, wouldn’t be revealed for months –not even to the cast.

Speaking at a panel at Megacon Orlando, per Cbr, Willa Holland, who played Thea Queen – as well as her superhero alter ego, Speedy – described the general air of mystery and anxiety surrounding the season four reveal. "At the end of this episode in the season, Oliver was standing over a grave and no one knew who it was," Holland said. "We didn’t know until 6 months later. I thought it was me and I was packing my bags. We were all afraid we were going to get killed."

‘Cruel Intentions’ Movie & 2024 Series Differences
Image
Cruel Intentions, the film, came back in 1999, and so it was imperative for the series to make some changes in the narrative and adapt to contemporary times. Apart from the main trio, a lot of other characters have been explored in depth in the series who primarily had just a cameo in the film. So first let’s talk about the changes in the storyline, and then let’s discuss the kind of changes Phoebe Fisher, Sara Goodman and the rest of the writing team incorporated into the primary characters to add more layers to them.

Spoiler Alert

How was the film’s plot different from that of the series?

The entire subplot where the series explored the dynamics between Blaise and Scott was not shown in the film in such a detailed manner. There was a gay couple shown in the film, but they didn’t have a major...

Cruel Intentions TV Review: Prime Video’s remake is pretty awful
Image
Plot: Follows the elite students of Manchester College, a Washington, D.C.-adjacent university, where reputation means everything, fraternities and sororities are the gold standard, and two ruthless step-siblings, Caroline Merteuil and Lucien Belmont, will do anything to stay on top of the cutthroat social hierarchy. After a brutal hazing incident threatens the entire Greek Life system, they’ll do whatever is necessary to preserve their power and reputation – even if that means seducing Annie Grover, the daughter of the Vice President of the United States. Hearts will be broken, loyalties will be tested, and secrets will be revealed in this modern-day royal court that is Manchester College.

Review: Since the 1988 film version of Dangerous Liaisons starring Glenn Close, Michelle Pfieffer, John Malkovich, and Uma Thurman, there have been ten adaptations of the eighteenth-century bestseller by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos including a 2022 series that aired on Starz. The most popular...

Did Bel-Air Kill Off a Major Character In the Season 3 Finale?
Image
Quick Links Bel-Air Season 3 Seemingly Kills Off Lamarcus Bel-Air's Tragic Season 3 Finale Revisits a Dark Fresh Prince Arc

The following contains spoilers for Bel-Air, Season 3, Episode 10, "Save the Best for Last," which debuted Sept. 5 on Peacock.

In a world of remakes, Bel-Air has been one of the more classy, socially relevant ones. This Peacock TV series focused on Jabari Banks' Will Smith, but with a more serious, dramatic edge in Los Angeles. While it has bits of comedy to it like its predecessor, it really dials down into the Black experience of Will and his peers.

Season 3 of Bel-Air pulls no punches, dealing with social justice issues, class warfare, and, as expected, matters of the heart within the Banks empire. Unfortunately, one romance takes a particularly dark turn in the finale. This comes via the love story between Hilary and Lamarcus on their honeymoon night.

Titans Showrunner Greg Walker Breaks Down The Series Finale
Image
This interview was conducted on Monday, May 1.Titans showrunner Greg Walker breaks down the series finale with spoilers and shares the potential plans he had for season 5. Unfortunately, HBO Max officially brought Titans to an end after four seasons, and the gritty Teen Titans drama saw Nightwing and his band of heroes take on their biggest threat: Brother Blood. After going through a dark season full of trials, the heroes came together in a big way as they took care of Sebastian Sanger.

After saving the world, it was time for a new chapter for most of these characters, so the Titans series finale saw the younger heroes head in their own directions. Iconic DC heroes Dick Grayson and Kory Anders finally got together, after Titans season 4 spent a lot of time reviving their romance from season 1. While their stories may be over, the heroes will always be ready to protect the world,...

Joshua Orpin On Superboy's Darker Turn In Titans Season 4
Image
Titans star Joshua Orpin, who plays Superboy, talks about his character taking a darker turn in season 4 of the DC TV show. The end is near for one of HBO Max's longest-running DC dramas. After airing for four seasons, Titans will be ending its run this year, and the series finale is only a few weeks away. Since Titans season 4, part 2 resumed, the heroes have had their hands full with Brother Blood following Sebastian Sanger's completed transformation.

Throughout the back half of the season, Superboy has embraced his Luthor side more, operating now as Conner Luthor. In the latest episode, "Game Over," Conner took a major step forward while also continuing to build out his dynamic with Sebastian. However, the Titans season 4 episode quickly sees Conner having a change of heart, hinting that he may not be as much of a Luthor as he thought he was.

Titans Season 4 Part 2 Release Window Seemingly Revealed By Director
Image
The release window for Titans season 4, part 2, has seemingly been revealed by one of the show's directors. Titans season 4, part 1, served as one of the biggest installments for the HBO Max drama. As the heroes have left Gotham City behind, the team is facing its deadliest threat yet. While Mother Mayhem was the initial big bad, the second half of Titans season 4 will see the gang face a new danger. After initially befriending Sebastian Sanger, their new ally has turned against them as he completes his Brother Blood transformation. With Brother Blood being one of the most iconic Teen Titans villains of all time, time will tell how much he will change the show this year.

While Titans season 4, part 1, finished in 2022, many have wondered when part 2 will arrive on HBO Max. Despite Warner Bros. TV and HBO Max not announcing a date, one of the directors may have slipped the window release.

Arrow Ep. 3.11 “Midnight City” proves its secondary players aren’t quite ready for prime-time
Arrow Season 3, Episode 11 “Midnight City”

Written by Wendy Mericle & Ben Sokolowski

Directed by Nick Copus

Airs Wednesdays at 8pm Et on The CW

As Arrow often does, “Midnight City” finds its heart most consistently with Felicity Smoak. There are many attempts in this episode to forge emotional connections between characters – Laurel and her father, Maseo and Tatsu, Malcolm and Thea – but when “Midnight” is focused on Felictiy and the void left by Oliver Queen, it enriches her story and Ray’s, elevating it beyond a lot of the other, more telegraphed material in this week’s episode.

What Felicity’s presence in “Midnight City” really adds to is Ray’s story, which is really a lot of re-purposed season one Arrow material, fit around the background and persona of Ray Palmer. He’s rich, resourceful, attractive, and dangerous; Felicity Smoak is attracted to him; Ray/Oliver’s feelings for her...

Welcome to another horror news round-up! This time around we have an update on the growing cast of Hannibal Season 3 and details on when you can expect to see Salem Season 2 on the small screen and the buzzed-about It Follows on the big screen.

TVLine reports that Glenn Fleshler (True Detective) will play Cordell Doemling, yet another familiar name to fans of Thomas Harris’ books and the Hannibal Lecter movies. For those unfamiliar, Cordell Doemling is the verbally abused medical aid to the wealthy, wicked, and mutilated Mason Verger, who will now be played on the TV series by Joe Anderson in place of Michael Pitt. In the 2001 film, Hannibal, Doemling was played by Željko Ivanek.

In other, previously announced Hannibal Season 3 casting news, it was recently revealed that Rutina Wesley, whom True Blood fans know as Tara Mae Thornton, will play the recurring role of Reba McClane, a blind...

The Flash, Ep. 1.10, “Revenge of the Rogues” an infectiously fun blend of special effects, comedy and drama

The CW’s hit series came back from its mid-season break with “Revenge of the Rogues,” an action packed hour juggling many subplots and further building the DC universe. When last we saw our hero, he was defeated by the mysterious Man in the Yellow Suit, but thanks to a wild card in Firestorm, the Scarlett Speedster made out with his life. That encounter plays heavily into the show’s mid-season premiere which opens with Barry’s narration changed to reflect his battle with the Reverse Flash, followed by Barry working on improving his speed through various training exercises that force him to dodge drones piloted by Cisco (How cool was that?). While it might be quite some time before the Reverse-Flash is seen again,...

Sleepy Hollow, Ep. 2.07, “Deliverance”: The un-immaculate conception
Sleepy Hollow, Season 2, Episode 7, “Deliverance”

Written by Sam Chalsen and Nelson Greaves

Directed by Nick Copus

Airs Mondays at 9pm (Et) on Fox

After a string of episodes where Sleepy Hollow has run the risk of feeling too formulaic, “Deliverance” is a welcome breath of fresh air for the season. The show has always done a better job than it needs to of balancing episodic concerns with the broader arc, but “Deliverance” is the first time since the premiere that it’s been able to cede the entire running time to character arcs over cool monster design. It’s a well-constructed hour of the show, one that hits a lot of emotional beats and even draws close to the idea that it might excise one of its main cast before the midpoint of the season.

The member of the cast in the crosshairs is Katrina, who was seen last week...

From Dusk till Dawn: The Series, 1.09, “Boxman”: Oceans 11 with vampires
From Dusk till Dawn: The Series, Season 1, Episode 9, “Boxman”

Written by Matt Morgan and Ian Sobel

Directed by Nick Copus

Airs Tuesdays at 9pm (Et) on El Rey Network

“Sorry brother, things are about to get a little weird”

“La Conquista”, episode eight of From Dusk till Dawn: The Series, was a rare misstep for the show whose entire first season has been a great surprise. Even though “La Conquista” had its high points, it was ultimately a flawed and disjointed episode that distracted from how great the show has been from the pilot. “La Conquista” did however end with one heck of a bloody awesome cliffhanger, with Richie (Zane Holtz) seemingly accepting Santanico’s (Eiza Gonzalez) deal.

“Boxman”, the season’s penultimate episode, picks up with a flashback to the fire that we know a young Richie saved Seth (D.J. Cotrona) from. One of the best things about the...

Arrow Ep. 2.22 “Streets of Fire” is more table-setting than storytelling
Arrow Season 2, Episode 22 “Streets of Fire”

Written by Jake Coburn & Ben Sokolowski

Directed by Nick Copus

Season finale airs Wednesday, 5/14 at 8pm Et on The CW

The last few weeks have seen a dramatic crescendo on Arrow, with Slade’s plan to destroy Oliver’s entire universe coming to light (or reveling in new found darkness, however you’d like to put it). With it has come a host of changes to Arrow‘s world: the death of Moira, Laurel learning the Arrow’s identity, and Thea’s disenchantment with her family and love life, major shifts in world dynamics that needed to occur to both push its characters into new stages of development, but also to neatly arrange the dominoes of the season’s endgame. “Streets of Fire” exists in the shadow of that endgame, an hour attempting to maintain momentum heading into the finale – but outside of a few inconsequential developments,...
