Multiple Emmy Award-winning producer and director, Susan Cooper is a founding partner of Taublieb Films, where she works on feature films, documentaries, TV shows, and digital content for the company, and Sadiki LLC/Manadoob. Susan is the Executive Producer of the top grossing theatrical feature film, "The Vow" (Sony/MGM) starring Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams and is the recipient of the Literacy in Media award as Executive Producer for Showtime's "Enslavement: The True Story of Fanny Kemble." She won Emmy Awards as Executive Producer of ESPN's 30 x 30 "Hawaiian: The Legend of Eddie Aikau" and the Netflix documentary, "Unchained: The Untold Story of Freestyle Motocross." Most recently, she was the Director and Producer of Blood Line: The Brian Deegan Story on ABC.
Susan was previously Executive Producer and Vice President of Saban Entertainment, where she oversaw over forty television movies and features from development through production/acquisition. She also became responsible for acquisitions for both Saban International and the Fox Family Channel. In 2002, Ms. Cooper then became Executive Director at Buena Vista International until she went on to open her own production company, Blue Engine Entertainment, Inc and then Taublieb Films.
Susan has also dedicated over fifteen years to the study of education and child behavior which lead to the creation of Sadiki, LLC/Manadoob novels (currently under option and being developed as a theatrical motion picture franchise) and to co-author The Manadoob Program for Self-Esteem, an exemplary tool for children to build self-esteem while stimulating positive behavioral outcomes including social kindness, personal mindfulness along with the development of resilience and academic success. Susan graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.A.. Susan believes her greatest teachers are her three sons Zev, Ari and Noah.
