    • Gerry got his start as a writer of comic books at age fifteen. He created _The Punisher_ for Marvel Comics in 1972. In recent years, he's written for film and television, and has written and produced for Le père Dowling (1989) (ABC, 1990-91) and Under Suspicion (1994) (CBS, 1994-95).]

    • Gerry Conway is the author of the seminal Spider-Man story, "The Night Gwen Stacy Died," considered by many to be one of the most influential comic book stories of the past four decades. Gerry is also the co-creator of The Punisher, subject of three film adaptations, as well as co-creator of popular comic book character, Firestorm, Power Girl, Man-Thing, and Killer Croc, along with many other characters and story lines appearing in Marvel and DC Comics, several of which have been adapted to film, and have been featured in the Batman animated series, and elsewhere.

      As a television writer and producer, Gerry has worked primarily in the mystery and police procedural format, and is best known for his work on New York - Police judiciaire (1990) and New York - Section criminelle (2001). He's been nominated for the Mystery Writers of America Edgar Award, and was twice nominated for an Emmy Award.
