Graduate of Wellesley College 1952 and The Yale School of Drama 1955.

Member of the original company of the Williamstown Theater Festival, Williamstown MA in 1956. Remained for many seasons there playing lead roles in "St. Joan", "The Matchmaker" and "Ondine" among others.

Married to Producer Tony Converse in 1963, she now again lives in New York City where she appeared in a number of Off Broadway plays before moving to Los Angeles for 20 years in 1977.
