Edit
  • Trivia
Dubbed "the Gal with the Beautiful Eyes", Irene Coleman became better known as a glamorous socialite than for her career in the pictures. Of French-Canadian parentage (born Bressette), she came to Hollywood in 1934 on the strength of being crowned Miss Chicago 1931. She had a brief fling with Broadway as a showgirl and then went on to play assorted ingénues and chorines as a freelance movie actress until 1941.
