    • Bob Colacello was born in 1947 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He is a writer and actor, known for La vie secrète d'une milliardaire (1999), The Trainer (2024) and CMT: True Grit (2006).

Trivia

  • Graduated from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in 1969; masters from Columbia's Graduate School of the Arts.
  • Began writing for the Village Voice while at Columbia, and was invited by Andy Warhol to write for his new "Interview" magazine. Within six months, Colacello became its editor, and stayed at the Factory for next 12 years, increasing circulation from 5,000 to nearly 100,000.
  • Ghostwrote 'The Philosophy of Andy Warhol: From A to B and Back Again'.
  • Left the Factory in 1983, and published the memoir "Holy Terror: Andy Warhol Close Up." Worked at Parade from 1983-1984, then signed an exclusive contract with Vanity Fair in 1984, where he has been a special correspondents ever since.
  • Close friends with the Reagans and author of the book "Ronnie & Nancy".
