Biography

Limber and athletic dancer Alexander Cole was born on Febrauary 26, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio. Alexander was featured in the two hour pilot for the immensely popular music variety TV series "Solid Gold." He stayed on as a regular featured dancer on the show before eventually leaving during the 1983 season. Cole can be glimpsed as one of the auditioning dancers in "A Chorus Line." Moreover, Alexander appears as a dancer in the big budget flop musical "Xanadu," the made-for-TV movie "Copacabana," the beauty pageant TV series "Dream Girl, U.S.A.," and Michael Jackson's 17-minute science fiction music short "Captain EO." His other credits include the 1983 Jerry Lewis Telethon and the Miss Teen USA beauty pageant.
