Silvia Cohen

Silvia Cohen, born in Paris from a family of Russian and Turkish origins and raised in Italy, graduated from the Filodrammatici Academy in Milan and has since then always worked in theatre, cinema and TV between France and Italy, with authors such as, among others, Mario Monicelli, Carlo Lizzani, Paolo Virzì, Sandro Baldoni, Gabriele Muccino, Daniele Luchetti, Riccardo Milani, Peter del Monte, Francesca Comencini, Marco Tullio Giordana, Gianni Amelio. She received two nominations for the Silver Ribbons, the Italian film critic's award, for the films "Strane Storie" and "Consigli per gli acquisti", both directed by Sandro Baldoni, and won a Ciak D'oro award for "Strane Storie".
