Originally tested for the role of Biff Tannen in Retour vers le futur (1985), but was deemed not big enough to have an intimidating presence over the 6' 0½" Eric Stoltz. Instead he played one of Biff's gang members. Stoltz' role was later recast with Michael J. Fox who is only around 5'4'' tall.
