Born and raised in London, England, Toby attended the Anna Scher Drama school from age 8 to 23 and has been acting professionally since the age of 11. He got his first break doing a BBC radio play where he portrayed a young American boy. Toby went on to perform in theatres all around England including the Royal Shakespeare Company and Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. It was his performance during the opening season at the Globe in Henry V where he received commendation for the Ian Charleson Best Young Actor Award presented at the National Theatre by the London Sunday Times. After completing several more television, film, and theatre roles, along with his second season at the Globe Theatre, Toby moved to the USA where he now resides in Los Angeles.
