  • Before making a career on the big screen, Joëlle first worked as a model. She appears in numerous magazines in France (Nous trois no. 14, Nature et Beauté no. 6) or in the Netherlands (Chick no. 69) and poses for erotic photo novels with sometimes quite daring content.
  • In the cinema, Joëlle mainly appears in soft erotic films, very popular in the first half of the 1970s. She is sometimes credited in the credits under her real name.
  • Considered one of the most beautiful, sexy actresses of the period, she worked three times for José Bénazéraf. After Black Love, she starred in Voir Malte et mourir and Les Lesbiennes, two films shot in Malta.
  • After her career as actress, Joëlle became a noted psychotherapist. The year 1985, with her husband, Paul Boyesen, she was founder of the 'École Française d'Analyse Psycho-Organique' (EFAPO).
