  • Trivia
He was a drinking pal and particularly close friend of schlock director Edward D. Wood Jr.. In fact, when Wood was evicted from his Hollywood apartment, he and wife Kathy moved in with Peter into Peter's low-income North Hollywood apartment located on Yucca Street. On December 10, 1978, only three days after the move, Wood, who had serious drinking issues, died of an alcohol-induced heart attack while resting in Peter's home.
