In 1987, Producer-Director Arnold Leibovit, working with Mrs. George Pal, created this loving compilation of Pal's milestone shorts from 1934-1947 hosted by Gumby, Pokey, and Arnie the Dinosaur. Stars voices of Paul Frees (Narrator, Arnie the Dinosaur), Dal McKennon (Gumby), Art Clokey (Pokey), Dick Beals (Speedy Alka-Seltzer), Victor Jory (Narrator, Tubby the Tuba), Rex Ingram (Narrator, John Henry and the Inky Poo), plus Mel Blanc, Billy Bletcher, Glen Leedy, Sam Edwards, Sam Browne and Evelyn Dall. Music: Peggy Lee, Charlie Barnet and His Orchestra, Louis Armstrong, Bert Ambrose and Philippa Ray. Featuring the Oscar nominated Tubby the Tuba, John Henry and the Inky Poo and Tulips Shall Grow along with Jasper in a Jam, Together in the Weather, The Little Broadcast, The Philips Broadcast of 1938, Philips Cavalcade, The Sleeping Beauty, SouthSea Sweethearts and Hoola Boola.
