Why Do Fans Feel Triple H May Leave WWE’s Creative? Tko’s $3 Billion Debt Explained
Image
Fans believe that the parent company, Tko, is trying to push out the Chief Content Officer of WWE, Triple H, from his position in eighteen months. Paul Levesque and his wife Stephanie McMahon are the last remaining links between the company and its founders, the McMahon family. It appears that the push to oust Triple H comes after creative differences with The Rock.

The prediction about Triple H’s exit comes from wrestling analyst Jonathan Coachman, who claimed that the WWE Cco might be pushed out of Tko. Speaking on The Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling podcast, Coachman shared that there was a power struggle inside Tko due to tension between Triple H and Dwayne Johnson. He shared:

From my time there and my time with The Rock, I know for a fact that he does not get along with Triple H. That does not go away. They’ve...

WWE Legend Is Furious With Tko Trying to Cut Roman Reigns’ WWE Salary Rumor
Image
Even if you don’t know the first thing about WWE, there is a solid chance you know about Roman Reigns. The guy looks like a Greek god, hits like a freight train, and carries himself as if he owns every inch of the ring. And let’s be honest, he kinda does. The Tribal Chief has been creating a legacy for himself that will be remembered for decades to come.

This is why the world wasn’t too surprised to learn that Roman Reigns is among the highest-paid wrestlers in the world today. But then, a rumor came along stating that Tko would be slicing the wrestler’s $15 million salary, and while those rumors have been proven to be false, a WWE legend was furious upon hearing it.

“He sucked the entire oxygen”: WWE Veteran Hates the Rock for Ruining Wrestling While Triple H Faces the Music
Image
Before going into WrestleMania 41, WWE had created a build-up for the exciting pay-per-view event. The main event on Day 2, a high-stakes clash between the then-Champion Cody Rhodes and the challenger John Cena, was expected to be a jaffa. However, more than the clash, the WWE fans waited for The Rock to show up at some point during the match.

The Fe!N music interrupted the match, but guess who showed up? Travis Scott and not The Rock. An unprecedented twist unfolded when Cena claimed the Championship. Yet, it wasn’t just his vow to ruin wrestling that shook the industry; it was The Rock’s actions that ultimately did the most damage. These are the thoughts of a veteran WWE commentator who hates The Final Boss for what he did to the WWE.

Roman Reigns is Not Worth $15 Million For WWE, He is Worth Way More Than That: Roman’s WWE Contract Explained
Image
When we talk about some of the biggest WWE superstars in the modern scene, many names can be put on the list. The likes of Cody Rhodes, Cm Punk, Seth Rollins, and many more will surely go down as someone who bring a lot to the table. However, none can come close to or even match the charisma of Roman Reigns.

Ever since he became The Head of the Table, every fan has acknowledged him as the greatest wrestling persona. Hence, his earning the fattest paycheck in the company was the most sensible news that fans read in a long time.

However, learning that the Otc earned only $15 million annually was hard to believe. Luckily, Hugo Savinovich explained his contract, which still makes the WWE star’s earnings feel like a modest sum, from the fans’ perspective.

Roman Reigns’ WWE contract looks like a bargain?

There’s no denying that...

Why Did Roman Reigns and Triple H Always Have Wet Hair: Former WWE Star May Have an Answer
Image
In the world of pro-wrestling, multiple components come together to hit the chord of perfection. One of the key ones out of the many is definitely optics. How one looks, what are the impacts of a phenomenal optic, it determines how good a match is going to be. Pro-wrestlers with good optics have always been the topic of hot discussions, whether it is The Rock, John Cena, Triple H or The Undertaker.

Ever since the world started spinning around style, if there is one element that has been key in shaping up the optics of the entire planet, it is one’s hair. Whether it is Thor of the Marvel Universe flaunting his golden blonde hair or the Joker of the Dark Knight, good hair has always been something to brag about.

Triple H May Leave WWE Creative Soon: Analyst Hints Tension Among Dwayne Johnson, Tko and Triple H

After a great career as a wrestler, Triple H decided to use his talents as WWE’s Chief Content Officer. While he retired from the ring in 2022, he continues to be an important part of the wrestling world, shaping storylines, elevating talent, and keeping the spirit of sports entertainment alive.

The 14-time world champion has gone from hammering opponents in the ring to hammering out creative decisions backstage. Seth Rollins’ Faction Is Tailor-Made for the Best Heel in WWE Who Has Been Ignored Lately
Image
Seth Rollins has experienced a major resurgence in WWE following the end of the WrestleMania season. The Visionary shocked the world by corrupting Paul Heyman to his side, who betrayed his best friend, Cm Punk, and his Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns. In doing so, Heyman assisted Rollins in winning the main event of WrestleMania 41 Night 1.

After his major win, Rollins and Heyman recruited two monster heels in Bron Breakker and Big Bronson Reed and formed a formidable unit on Monday Night Raw. However, his faction is also suited for a former WWE Champion who has not been booked properly in recent weeks.

Why Did WWE Release R-Truth and Carlito: Here is What Fans Think About the Loyal WWE Veteran
Image
Over the last few years, WWE has once again become a top name in the entertainment wrestling scene, where they keep signing new talent in an attempt to bring more viewers. In the process, as they expand their brand, they also release their WWE superstars in a similar capacity. The decision is a heartbreak in itself, where the performer has to bid adieu to their fans and the biggest wrestling brand.

It is understandable to let go of underperforming talents and replace them with better talents who are a major fan attraction. What takes the WWE Universe by surprise is how sometimes this shakedown includes names that they never saw coming from miles away.

The current list includes the shocking names of R-Truth and Carlito, who have been with the company for quite some time. Hence, when the former star broke the news, fans were heartbroken as they felt Tko...

“He despises him”: Vince McMahon Allegedly Not on Talking Terms With Triple H After WrestleMania Blunder

The leadership of WWE experienced a major shift in 2024 when longtime Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon left the promotion after serious allegations from Janel Grant. The parent company, Tko Group Holdings, appointed his son-in-law, Triple H to be his successor and lead the charge alongside WWE CEO and President, Nick Khan.

The duo has been taking the Sports Entertainment juggernaut to impeccable heights. However, tensions have been reported in the McMahon household between Vince, his daughter Stephanie McMahon, and The Game himself, Triple H.

“If you put a lie detector on Triple H today…”: Vince McMahon’s Truly Worst WWE Storyline Had Kane and The Game That They Regret Forever

While Vince McMahon often portrayed a rough and intimidating persona on television, both brilliant and questionable decisions marked his tenure as the head of WWE. Although McMahon was responsible for producing some of the most iconic and compelling storylines in WWE history, he also oversaw the creation of some truly regrettable ones.

One of the most notorious examples was the infamous storyline involving Triple H and Kane, now remembered as the Katie Vick controversy. Widely regarded as one of the worst storylines ever produced, it remains a dark chapter in WWE history, one that both the company and the WWE Universe would rather forget.

One of the Greatest Segment of The Rock Happened by Defying Vince McMahon’s Direct Order That Went Down in History

The Rock has provided several other stars with memorable moments in their careers, including commentator Jonathan Coachman. A renowned sports and wrestling pundit and commentator, Coachman is well-known among WWE fans for his tenure with the organization, including his work behind the announcer’s desk.

Some of the most memorable moments in Coachman’s career were his work as a diabolical ‘heel’, even though he also served as an on-air commentator and backstage interviewer.

The Rock's 10 Funniest WWE Moments
Image
An argument can be made for The Rock being the funniest wrestler to ever come out of WWE, whether he's trying to be or not. His recent return at Bad Blood is an example of how The Final Boss can be unintentionally hilarious. Popping up at the end of the Ple with cryptic sign language and then cutting a wacky promo backstage on Instagram Live is absolute comedic gold.

The Rock has a lot of moments like that, especially in his prime and especially when he actually tries to be funny. He's naturally funny without trying to be due to his charm, but when he starts cracking jokes at the expense of other superstars, no one is safe. Whether it be his antics during his matches or his promos themselves, The Rock never ceases to make audiences bust a gut whenever possible.

WWE’s ‘Raw Reunion’ Is Highest-Rated Episode Since 2018 Superstar Shakeup
WWE’s “Raw Reunion” Monday night pinned down 3.093 million total viewers, an increase of 26% from last week’s regular ol’ “Raw” episode.

In terms of both total viewers and the key 18-49 demographic, last night’s “Raw” was actually the highest-rated episode since the April 16, 2018 Superstar Shakeup.

Yes, that means it did even better than the “Raw” after WrestleMania 35, which is a big performer annually and marks the start of World Wrestling Entertainment’s new “season.” Monday’s episode was 5% higher among adults 18-49 than that April 8, 2019 fallout show, and did 6% better overall.

The “Raw Reunion” did not keep pace with Jan. 22, 2018’s “Raw 25” episode, which celebrated the 25th anniversary of WWE’s flagship series on USA Network.

Nerdly Wrestling Awards – Week Three

Worst Promo: Triple H Disparages A Talking Corpse (WWE)

Triple H cut a promo on The Undertaker that was from the old “screw the business” book that Triple H wrote in 1999. The idea here was to bury The Undertaker as weak and pathetic. Sadly, some of the crowd actually cheered for Triple H in this tirade. The goal appears to be to make Triple H the hero, which is as dumb a decision as any other that involved Triple H winning the title. The idea that Triple H is seeking revenge for The Undertaker disparaging Shawn Michaels feels cheap. This match worked far better when it was just about the spirit of competition.

Renee Young to Replace Jonathan Coachman at WWE ‘Raw’ Announce Table
Jonathan Coachman
Renee Young is set to replace Jonathan Coachman at the WWE “Monday Night Raw” announce table, becoming the first woman to land that gig on a full-time basis. Coachman will now host WWE’s pay-per-view kickoff shows.

Beginning tonight, Young joins Michael Cole and Corey Graves each week on WWE’s flagship USA Network show. She is currently part of the “Mae Young Classic” — an annual all-women’s wrestler tournament — commentary team on WWE Network.

Lately, Young had been filling in week-to-week for the man affectionately called “Coach” on sort of a trial basis. She had previously served primarily as a backstage interviewer, host of pre- and post-shows, and commentator on various WWE programs, including “Raw,” “SmackDown Live” and “Nxt.”

Prior to WWE, Young worked at The Score Television Network in Canada, where she co-hosted “WWE Aftermath.”

WWE news: Monday Night Raw makes Renee Young the first ever female commentator to work an entire Raw this week

Bow down to the, bow down to the queen. Too Many TV Reboots/Remakes/Re-Vamp’s/Sequel Series Revivals/Prequel Series
I’ve been watching, among other things, the current reboot of ‘Will & Grace‘. One of, many, many, many new TV reboots that are occurring. Alright, I know, I’m not breaking any new ground, Hollywood’s not that original, blah, blah, blah. Still though, this TV reboot caught my attention. For one thing–really? This show you’re rebooting? I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love ‘Will & Grace‘ I actually I might argue that it’s one of the more underrated shows of all-time, and had it not been directly up against ‘CSI‘ for so many years, I think it might’ve won more Best Comedy Series Emmys than it actually did. It’s still one of only three series, ‘All in the Family‘ and ‘The Golden Girls‘ being the others, where every original main member of the regular cast won an acting Emmy for said series. I...

2016 Summer Olympics: 8 Things We’re Looking Forward To in Rio, And How to Watch Them
Michael Phelps
And they’re off! After weeks of reports about trouble in Rio – from the threat of Zika virus to the very real problem of polluted water – the 2016 Summer Olympics got underway Friday night with an Opening Ceremony that underwhelmed – at least for American TV audiences. (Initial ratings were way down from the 2012 London Olympics.)

Nonetheless, the real drama and excitement is still to come over the next two weeks, as some of the world’s most decorated athletes look to add to their record tallies. As NBC’s Bob Costas recently told reporters at the Television Critics Association press tour, “Obviously Michael Phelps is already the greatest swimmer in Olympic history. Usain Bolt is already the greatest sprinter in Olympic history, and they’re trying to add to what they already have done, so we’re talking about Mount Rushmore-type stuff.”

Costas also has his eye on this year’s...

5 Ups And 3 Downs From Last Night’s WWE SmackDown (March 31)
WWE.com

SmackDown was a real struggle this week, and that hasn’t been the case at all for the program over the past few months. It’s somewhat understandable that WWE would gloss over the Thursday night broadcast this time around, WrestleMania 32 is imminent after all. That doesn’t excuse the incredibly threadbare nature of the show, one which failed to elicit much excitement from the live crowd whatsoever.

There were positives, even the most pedestrian of WWE shows can have an upside or two. Overall however, there was a feeling that the promotion were already looking beyond SmackDown, instead of using it to further build towards the main matches people will see at ‘Mania. It’s safe to say the program wasn’t exactly horrible, but there was next to nothing which could accurately be dubbed essential.

And yet, there were enjoyable sections of SmackDown. Only a trio...

Jonathan Coachman Returns During WWE Raw
WWE.com

Former WWE announcer, and current Espn personality, Jonathan Coachman made his return to WWE television on Monday evening during Raw.

Coachman returned following a match between Kofi Kingston and Alberto Del Rio which served the purpose of building up the tag team title match between the League of Nations and The New Day at WrestleMania 32 this Sunday. Kingston won the match after Del Rio tried to lock in a cross-arm breaker and Kingston rolled through it into a pinfall.

As New Day celebrated on the ramp, out walked Coachman from behind the curtain. He announced that once again, Espn’s SportsCenter will be live at WrestleMania this year. The top sports network in the world will do live cut-ins and interview segments throughout the day on Sunday until WrestleMania starts.

Coachman also hyped up the New Day themselves, revealing that he was holding a box of “Booty-o’s” behind his back.

Daniel Bryan Is Suffering From Post Concussion Seizures
wwe.com

Daniel Bryan has admitted he is suffering from post concussion seizures, telling Jonathan Coachman on Espn that he had kept them hidden for a long time.

The recent tests revealed swelling and a lesion on the part of the brain that causes these seizures, and that’s why Bryan is now a former WWE wrestler. He told Coachman that there has been ten concussions, but there’s no way to documenting every single incident in his sixteen year career. Particularly on the independent scene, there isn’t really a culture of excellent health care.

It is definitely scary to hear that Bryan has swelling and a lesion on his brain. It is also concerning to hear that he’d been suffering seizures, yet he was still wanting to return to the wrestling business. How can a guy as smart as Bryan think it wise to hide the seizures?...

Cm Punk Drug Tested By Usada
© Gabriel Grams/Splash News/Corbis

Former WWE champion Cm Punk has confirmed via way of Twitter that he has now officially been drug tested by the Usada, in what is likely the first of many such tests Punk will undergo as part of his Mma career.

Punk let the news slip himself after women’s bantamweight title challenger and former Strikeforce champion Miesha Tate posted to twitter that she had been woken up early Tuesday morning by the Usada, who were on site to perform a random drug test leading into her Ufc 197 clash with new champ Holly Holm. With a fight signed, sealed, and delivered, drug testing for Tate was to be expected.

Of course, it’s expected of everyone these days, which is why Punk, who has yet to even have his first opponent officially confirmed (though it’s possibly Mickey Gall from Dana White’s Looking For...

10 Wrestling Facts We Didn’t Know Last Week (Jan 1)
Twitter

Currently, Hulk Hogan is taking a sabbatical from World Wrestling Entertainment and pro wrestling in general. Amidst racism allegations, the ‘Hulkster’ was smeared in 2015, and the allegations have ended his ambassador-like role with the company for the time being. It seems like Hogan was advised to disappear for a while, although there’s already talk that he’ll work with the promotion again in the future.

Even though he’s not directly involved, that doesn’t mean that Hulk isn’t paying attention to what’s happening in the pro wrestling world. In this week’s article, Hulk has some kind words for a current WWE talent, one he feels is the best the group has to offer. The answer may surprise some fans.

That’s what this article is all about, offering up 10 pro wrestling-related facts which even the most passionate grappling enthusiasts may not have know about last week.

7 Worst Ever Hell In A Cell WWE Matches
WWE.com

On Monday’s Raw, it was announced that Seth Rollins will face either John Cena or Dean Ambrose at Hell in a Cell, in a match of the same name. Once renowned for classic, bloodthirsty matches that give climactic ends to violent, personal wars, the PPV name has diluted Satan’s Structure into a background prop for undeserving, sub-par matches. Arguably, the superb Rollins vs. Ambrose feud belongs in the Cell but Rollins vs. Cena doesn’t, caused simply by interference in the Night of Champions main event.

Rollins vs. Cena/Ambrose will be the 28th televised Hell in a Cell match since its October 1997 inception (not including the Kennel from Hell) and, whilst we’ve been treated to some classics like Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels and Undertaker vs. Mankind, there have been several that haven’t quite stole the show.

Here are the seven worst Hell in a Cell matches so far.

WWE Wrestler Death Rates Investigated
WWE.com

A lot of people have been talking about Benjamin Morris’ 538 piece, “Are Pro Wrestlers Dying at an Unusual Rate?”

Like Morris, I am neither an actuarial scientist nor a demographer. So, our interpretations of the data should be taken with a grain of salt. My results were somewhat different from Morris’ due to a difference data set and changes in how we calculated actuarial predictions.

Differences in methodology from Morris

I also used Social Security Actuarial Life Tables, but my “expected mortality rates” for the age groups were not the same as Morris’. For each wrestler, I calculated what their age would have been as of today. Then, based on gender, I looked up the number of lives (out of 100,000) that were expected to still be alive and converted that to a percentage. His analysis looked at wrestlers who were on 20+ WWF PPVs through 2002. I went with a...

Cm Punk Fans Reportedly Ejected From ‘WWE Monday Night Raw’
Update: Despite fans’ claims, HollywoodLife.com has exclusive confirmation that ‘no one was kicked out concerning anything surrounding Cm Punk.’

Cm Punk shocked the world when he decided to quit the WWE, but it doesn’t sound like his fans are ready to give up on him quite yet. Several Twitter users — who claimed to be in Omaha, Nebraska, for the taping of Monday Night Raw‘s Feb. 3 episode — were allegedly kicked out of the CenturyLink Center for “chanting” about Cm Punk.

Here’s a collection of crazed fan tweets, compiled by WrestleZone.com:

Wow just got kicked out of the centurylink center with about 40 other ppl 4 chanting cm punk!!!! I saw ppl get tossed earlier too #cmpunk

— Paul Cernbolis (@JerryThebigsa) February 4, 2014

WWE 13: 10 Special Guest Referees Who Should Be Included
Referees in professional wrestling can almost be as legendary as the performers themselves; Earl Hebnar, Nick Patrick, Mike Chioda and Charles Robinson are names that are very familiar with wrestling fans, and with good reason. Whether they are directly involved in some of the most controversial decisions ever found in sports entertainment (like the Montreal screwjob), or simply cannon fodder for newly-pushed badasses, referees are at the heart of the business.

And of course, you cannot ignore the role of the special guest referee, where a wrestler or celebrity usually takes up the role for specific story line reasons. With the release of the newest WWE 13 game imminent, here is my list of the 10 Special Guest Referees Who Should Be Included.

1. Mick Foley

One of the most prolific special guest referees in all of wrestling’s history has to be the Hardcore Legend himself, Mick Foley. The matches he has...

Vickie Guerrero To Guest Host WWE Raw & SmackDown Next Week
It was announced at Tuesday’s WWE SmackDown tapings that Vickie Guerrero will be the Interim General Manager of Raw and SmackDown next week. For reasons unexplained, The Great Khali will be her assistant.

On this week’s Raw it was announced that until the WWE Board of Directors appoint new General Managers of both shows (which we imagine will probably happen at the 1,000th celebrations next month) there will be temporary hosts of the show each week, all of which will be former General Managers and Commissioners of Raw & SmackDown.

Mick Foley was the first guest host of the show this week and we now know Vickie Guerrero will be next week’s.

For future names that could serve as Interim Gm’s we are likely to see Teddy Long, William Regal, Paul Heyman, Vince McMahon (this one seems certain given his ability to boost ratings), Stephanie McMahon, Shawn Michaels,...

Vader Returns At WWE Raw Defeating Heath Slater
Former 90′s WWF star and three-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion Vader made a return during last night’s three hour Raw SuperShow.

“The Man They Call Vader” was brought back by John Laurinaitis as part of the Raw 1,000th episode celebrations and he defeated Heath Slater in a match with the Vader Bomb.

The appearance from Vader was expected to be a one-off special gig and he isn’t expected to be back on a full or semi-time basis, though he may turn up at Raw 1,000th in July.

Vader’s appearance on Raw last night was his first for the company in almost seven years. His last appearance for the WWE came at the back end of 2005, the highlight being on November 1st, 2005 when Vader and Goldust were in Jonathan Coachman’s corner in a street fight against Batista (originally was to be Stone Cold Steve Austin but he...
