  • Best remembered as the beautiful tomboy ingenue Valerian in the cult fantasy adventure Le Dragon du lac de feu (1981).
  • Has four younger sisters, one of whom (Victoria Torie Clarke) worked for the Pentagon as its chief public relations official, from mid-2001 until mid-2003.
  • Graduate of the Yale School of Drama.
  • Favorite Record Albums: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, The Art of Bel Canto with Joan Sutherland.
  • She was awarded the 1989 Drama Logue Award for Outstanding Performance for "Our Country's Good" at the Mark Taper Forum Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
  • Parents: Charles & Cecilia Clarke. Moved to the Pittsburgh suburb of Sewickley when she was ten; her parents still live and work there.
  • Education: Mt. Holyoke College, 1970-1974. Yale School of Drama, 1974-1978.
