Alinta Ciurdareanu, born in 1946 in Bucharest, Romania, followed for four years a study in "Acting" with the internationally acknowledged Romanian "Theater and Film Institute" (IATC) Bucharest, finishing it in 1967. She made her debut in film, in 1965, while she was still a student, in the French-Romanian co-production "A nameless Star" ("Steaua fara Nume"), a movie made after the well-known play written by Mihail Sebastian, directed by Henri Colpi, screenplay by Francois Billetdoux, dialogues by Alexandru Mirodan, scenography by Ion Oroveanu, next to famous French actors of the time: Marina Vlady and Claude Rich, in the role of Eleonora Zamfirescu. She played also in the Romanian film "The last Night of Childhood" ("Ultima Noapte a Copilariei") in 1966, under the direction of Savel Stiopul, screenplay by Dumitru Carabat, the part of Silvia next to Silvia Badescu (Fana), Irina Gardescu (Mina), Cornel Gurita (Maximilian) and Anton Tauf (Dudu). After she finished her studies, she left the country right away, aiming for France, as she was the niece of the famous Romanian Princess Martha Bibesco, settling in Paris. In 1978 she appeared again in a French movie, "On efface tout" under the director Pascal Vidal.
