Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the oldest child of six siblings to Dottie and Harlow, teenage parents of Polish and German heritage. Participating in the Arts throughout high school; she was editor of the three page school newspaper, and won 1st Prize for a paper-mache sculpture of a boldly striped yellow and black Octopus. When competing in the Drama Division of the annual Forensics contests for a monologue from the play: "Anna Karenina," which ends with her falling to her death on the train tracks; she lost the 1st prize by only one vote.

She knew she had to leave Pittsburgh to fulfill her dreams, and her 1st stop was Kansas City, where a blizzard blanketed the tarmac and grounded the plane; she ended up staying there four years. She signed with Thelma Weir's Monza Modeling Agency in 1964, and landed the Seagram's billboard campaign portraying the big movie stars from the 'Golden Days of Hollywood', and two national commercials: Firestone and Blue Cross.

She signed a talent contract with Cunningham & Associates in May of 1968 after she drove cross-country to Los Angeles on her quest to continue her path to an acting career. With her fresh country girl face and long blonde hair, she booked the first three national commercial auditions she went on leading to over 100 commercials shot in total.

Transitioning to the theatrical side of the industry in early 1970, and having studied for many years thereafter, she booked a walk-on for a television series: Docteur Marcus Welby (1969) in the 1970s, then a three line scene in a pilot called: The Courtship of Eddie's Father (1969), and soon thereafter was doing Guest and Co-Starring roles through 1989. Her favorite part was playing "Syrene" in Beyond Atlantis (1973) as a hybrid mermaid doing one of her favorite things: swimming.

She now resides in West Hollywood and does bookkeeping and consulting for her son's Costa Rica Boutique Hotel Resort: Tao Destinations, and plans on relocating there in the future.
