Robin Ann Snider spent most of her early years in Northern California,
where her family (including her mother, brother and his family still
live. She went to Arcadia High School where she met Stevie Nicks.
Stevie and Robin became life long friends. Robin studied speech in
college and acted as vocal coach for Nicks while she was on tour
with Fleetwood Mac. Robin met Kim Anderson, a rep for Warner Brothers
Records, and married. She was diagnosed with leukemia and became
pregnant soon after. She was told she would lose her child, but he was
delivered at 6.5 months and she died 10 days later. Kim Anderson soon
quit the record business and moved to rural Minnesota where he later
married Stevie Nicks. Kim and Stevie were soon divorced. Stevie still
has contact with the Anderson family and often speaks of Robin Ann Snider.
