Biography

As a trilingual actress, Annick Christiaens lived and worked for a long time in Paris before choosing Brussels and London to settle down. She has been playing leads in Belgium and The Netherlands in Dutch with famous actors Mathias Schoenaerts, Frank Lammers and Jan Decleir as partners and in France in French with famous actors Clovis Cornillac, Nicholas Duvauchelle, Alain Chabat as partners. In Croatia, Sweden, Germany and Lithuania she has been playing second parts in series in English. She obtained a Master Degree at the Superior National Conservatory for Dramatic Art in Paris and a Master Degree in film directing and script-writing at the University of Paris II and started, next to her acting career, to write and direct. Her short movies got some valuable awards. She is often present at the Film Festival of Cannes as an actress/ writer/director. Her ballet education gives her elegance and agility and her fitness training gives her power and energy. She has a gift for imitating native accents. She does voice overs in 5 different languages.
