Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Christine spent her time between Europe and Canada after high school. While attending college in Vancouver, she originally tried acting as a hobby while majoring in art history and fell in love with it. She became a full-time actress after landing roles in 40 jours et 40 nuits (2002), Destination: Graceland (2001), Infirmière en herbe (2004), and Destination finale (2000) among many others.
She has starred in many television shows including Dead Zone (2002), Psych : Enquêteur malgré lui (2006), Fringe (2008) and Supernatural (2005) and was the title character in the successful SyFy mini-series Riese (2009). In 2005, she received a Leo award nomination for her role in The Collector (2004).
