Robert Gossett directed her in a play when she was at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, she was cast in a small part, but recast as the lead when the lead actress had an epileptic fit.

Co-directed the short-film I Heard the Mermaids Singing (2008) with co-star Kenny Johnson when the director pulled out 4 days before the shoot.
