    • Ken G. Hall was born on February 22, 1901 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. He was a director and producer, known for The Exploits of the Emden (1928), Lovers and Luggers (1937) and Dad and Dave Come to Town (1938). He was married to Irene Addison. He died on February 8, 1994 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

  • He was awarded the OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) in the 1972 Queen's New Years Honours List for his services to the Australian Motion Picture Industry.
  • Pioneer Australian film maker, a former journalist, stage manager and movie publicist. Hall turned out modestly made, but popular motion pictures as head of Cinesound Studios during the 1930's and 40's (including the successful 'Rudd Family' series). Cinesound was later partly owned by the Rank Organisation. Hall then moved into television, working as general manager of Australia's first TV station, Channel Nine, from 1956 to 1966.
