Olivia Munn Explains Why She Won't Let Her Kids Watch Preschool Shows Like 'Ms. Rachel' & 'Blue's Clues' - But There's 1 Exception!
Image
Olivia Munn doesn’t let her kids watch everything on TV geared towards children.

The 44-year-old The Predator star has two kids – Malcolm, 3, and Méi, 8 months – with partner John Mulaney.

And in a new People cover story, she explained why they won’t be watching any TV shows tailed to young children.

Keep reading to find out more…

During the discussion, she revealed she doesn’t let her kids watch most shows directed towards children, including Ms. Rachel…because she doesn’t like watching them.

“I know kids love [Ms. Rachel], but the thing is, if I can’t watch it, I’m not going to spend the rest of my life going crazy,” she explained.

And it’s not just Ms. Rachel: “These kid shows drive me crazy.”

The cartoons aren’t an exception, either.

“Malcolm asked for Blue’s Clues [recently], and I don’t know who showed him Blue’s Clues, but...

The 15 Best Jujutsu Kaisen Character Designs, Ranked
Image
One of the most popular shonen franchises of the modern day, Gege Akutami's Jujutsu Kaisen introduces fans to an expansive, brutal world of sorcerers and curses. Fans adore Jjk for its gruesome battles, tense and unpredictable plot, and one of the most engaging power systems in shonen history. Yet, what truly sets Jujutsu Kaisen apart from other series is Akutami's incredible ability to create memorable, lovable characters.

The heroes and villains of Jjk stand out due to their unorthodox powers, distinguished personalities and emotive development arcs that rarely fail to resonate with fans. However, one aspect of Akutami's character creation prowess that can't be overlooked is the mangaka's knack for crafting character designs that perfectly capture his heroes' individuality, like Sukuna. Diverse, stylish and unorthodoxly effective at giving fans a feel for the character through looks alone, Jujutsu Kaisen's designs are a huge part of why fans love the series' heroes so fiercely.

Jjk: Kusakabe's Sword and Cursed Energy Abilities, Explained
Image
Jujutsu Kaisen's second-year sensei, Atsuya Kusakabe, has always managed to avoid all danger and keep himself out of harm's way. The cowardly teacher detests fighting in any capacity, despite being a Grade 1 sorcerer, technically the highest rank achievable. Regardless of clearly having his fair share of battle capability and experience, Kusakabe's self-preservation comes before anything else, and he's willing to be deceitful to achieve this.

Despite the sorcerer clearly being a weak link among his peers, Jjk manga Chapter 253 surprised fans by suggesting that Kusakabe is actually jujutsu society's strongest Grade 1 sorcerer. Nanami and Mei Mei, his peers of the same rank, spilled in an interview scenario that they believed him to be the strongest of their grade. Even special-grade Gojo Satoru, previously the world's strongest sorcerer, agreed. What makes the fearful sorcerer so strong?

Updated on November 7, 2024, by Ajay Aravind: Atsuya Kusakabe is an abject coward when it...

Jjk's Shibuya Incident Timeline, Explained
Image
The Shibuya Incident is one of the most traumatic moments in the plot of Jujutsu Kaisen. The event results from Kenjaku's plan to seal his greatest threat, Satoru Gojo, in the Prison Realm. This major jujutsu terrorist attack pitted numerous Jujutsu sorcerers against multiple curse spirits who had aligned with Kenjaku and resulted in the deaths of countless well-beloved characters. This incident did not spawn out of nowhere; it was the by-product of decades of planning Kenjaku took under, from deciding to use the Prison Realm to eliminate the Six Eyes user to taking control of Suguru Geto and assembling numerous curse users for his cause.

Part of Kenjaku's planning involved the Kyoto Goodwill Arc, where Mahito steals Cursed Womb: Death Paintings numbers one to three and six sealed fingers of Sukuna from Jujutsu High, with their plan to give Sukuna more control of Yuji's body, with more ingested fingers.

Gojo's Return in Jujutsu Kaisen, Explained. Has He Really Come Back From the Dead?
Image
Warning: Contains spoilers for chapter #261 of Jujutsu Kaisen.

Jujutsu Kaisen's final battle single-handedly sent the fandom into chaos when it teased the potential return of Gojo Satoru. The battle against Sukuna was no doubt full of unexpected plot twists, but Gojo's return is one that very few considered a real possibility, especially given Gege Akutami's dislike for the character and the closure provided after his death. That said, chapter #261 finally shed light on the matter, revealing an unexpected sacrifice by Yuta Okkotsu that made Gojo's return possible.

Chapter #261 reveals that Yuta has taken over Gojo's body using Kenjaku's Cursed Technique, revealing that the ghost Sukuna saw at the end of the previous chapter was indeed Gojo and not a hallucination on Sukuna's part. The chapter explains that Shoko and the medical team were able to patch up Gojo's body just enough for Yuta to do the rest...

Jujutsu Kaisen's Latest Twist Proves How Rushed The Final Arc Was
Image
Warning: Contains spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen chapter #269.One major point of contention with Jujutsu Kaisens final arc is the idea that its been incredibly rushed. Even with the final arc running for a little over a year, most of that was spent on the lengthy fight against Sukuna, and with only a few chapters left, there isnt anywhere near enough time to properly close out some of the storys lingering plot threads.

The Jujutsu Kaisen manga rushing its final arc has been a criticism ever since it started, and chapter #269 only makes that criticism even worse. Chapter #269 finally addressed the lore surrounding Simple Domain, something people had been questioning since the early days of the series, but thanks to its handling, this big lore drop only served to prove how rushed the final arc has been. A lot of that is symptomatic of some of the larger issues with Jujutsu Kaisen.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 269 Review
Image
Since the dawn of the 2020s, arguably no shonen franchise has grown more in popularity than Jujutsu Kaisen. The breakout manga was immediately a hit after being published in Shonen Jump Magazine, and thanks to its beloved anime adaptation (which includes Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the highest-grossing Japanese film of 2024), its following has grown to rival that of even the most popular shonen series. That said, Gege Akutami's manga is not without fault, and nowhere are these issues more clear than in Chapter 269.

Chapter 269 titled "Considerations" is the third-to-last chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen and the latest to follow the aftermath of the jujutsu world's hard-fought victory against Ryomen Sukuna. Unfortunately, for a chapter that is supposed to continue wrapping up the series' main storylines, Chapter 269 is remarkably insistent on answering questions that little-to-no fans were asking, casting a cloud of doubt over the manga's upcoming finale.

Yuta Okkotsu and His...

One of Jujutsu Kaisen's Biggest Moments is Explained By a Hero's Return
Image
Warning: The following contains spoilers for chapter #260 of Jujutsu Kaisen!!

Todo uses a Vibraslap to enhance Boogie Woogie & helps Yuta kill Kenjaku in Jujutsu Kaisen #260. Chapter #243 reveals Todo's involvement in swapping Yuta & foreshadows his critical role. Kenjaku's defeat was carefully planned with Todo's assistance, showing depth in the story.

Jujutsu Kaisen's final battle against Sukuna has had a lot of important developments in recent chapters. One of the biggest surprises was the return of Jujutsu Kaisen's fan-favorite character, Yujis older brother and best friend, Aoi Todo in chapter #259, who had been missing since Shibuyas incident, with his last contribution in the story being helping defeat Mahito, but at the cost of losing his left hand. Todos curse technique, Boogie Woogie, required him to clap his hands to swap peoples places, so after severing his own hand, it was implicit that he couldnt use his Ct anymore.

However, this...

Gege Akutami Brings Back Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen but Definitely Not in the Way Fans Want
Image
Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen has shaken the entire world with the Shinjuku Showdown arc featuring Sukuna, the King of the Curses fighting against the Jujutsu Sorcerers and defeating them one by one. The series recently featured one of the biggest fights where the King of Curses fought Yuta Okkotsu and Yuji Itadori.

Jujutsu Kaisen

However, even Yuta could not stand up against Sukuna and was defeated by him. But the fight did not end there as Maki Zenin entered the battle and is currently fighting Sukuna. But looking at the sorcerers being defeated by the King of Curses one by one, fans have once again started missing the only character who had a chance against Sukuna.

The character in question is Gojo Satoru, the most loved individual in Jujutsu Kaisen. Fans have been hoping that Akutami might bring Gojo back but they have not given hints about the sorcerer coming back.

Image
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 episode #14 releases on October 26 and has the potential to surpass the previous episode with its major twist. Episode #14 will focus on Yuji's unconscious and injured body, which may have significant consequences for the rest of the arc.

After a major cliffhanger ending in episode #13 fans are eagerly waiting for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 episode #14. Given the high quality of episode #13, which featured one of the race's most anticipated fights, episode #14 could be disappointing in comparison.
