Ewan McGregor & Wife Mary Elizabeth Winstead Used Intimacy Coordinator In Sex Scenes For ‘A Gentleman In Moscow’
Image
Ewan McGregor and Mary Elizabeth Winstead are husband and wife, and despite being married since 2022, the couple still used an intimacy coordinator on the set of the series A Gentleman in Moscow.

McGregor revealed in a recent interview why having an intimacy coordinator on the set was important while filming sex scenes for the series.

“It’s still necessary, because it’s also about the crew, and it’s odd to be naked in front of people, it’s odd to be intimate in front of the camera,” McGregor told Radio Times. “If you were doing a dance scene, you’d have a choreographer. It’s an important part of the work now, because it’s somebody that the director and actors meet in the middle.”

The actor also noted the importance of intimacy coordinators, especially now that his daughters Esther and Clara are also actors.

“My daughter [Esther] is 22. If an older,...

‘The Spanish Princess’: Charlotte Hope To Star In ‘The White Princess’ Follow-Up On Starz
Charlotte Hope
Charlotte Hope (Game of Thrones) has been tapped to star in Starz’s The Spanish Princess, the third installment following The White Princess and The White Queen, based on Philippa Gregory’s bestselling books. Starz also rounded out the cast as production begins on the limited series.

The Spanish Princess, from All3 Media’s New Pictures and Playground, the latest chapter in the dynastic saga of Tudor England, is described as a powerful, epic story that not only returns the audience to the world of royal court intrigue as seen uniquely through the perspective of the women, but also sheds light on a previously untold corner of history – the lives of people of color, living and working in 16th century London.

Hope has been cast in the titular role as Catherine of Aragon, alongside Stephanie Levi-John as her lady-in-waiting and confidante, Lina de Cardonnes.

Starz’s ‘The Spanish Princess’ Casts Charlotte Hope, Sets All Female Directors
Charlotte Hope will star in Starz’s “The Spanish Princess,” which is the cabler’s follow-up to “The White Queen” and “The White Princess,” Variety has learned.

Hope takes on the titular role, Catherine of Aragon, who is promised in marriage to the future King of England Prince Arthur (played by Angus Imrie). Catherine is described as “the source of curiosity, resentment and suspicion among her new family.” When Prince Arthur dies shortly after their wedding, Catherine finds her future as Queen in question and at the mercy of a divided Tudor court under the threat of enemies both abroad and closer to home.

Returning to the world of Tudor royal court intrigue, the story unfolds from the point of view of the women, which works to shed a light on a previously untold corner of history — including the lives of people of color that lived and worked in 16th century London.

Radiator review – pathos and heartache in a dysfunctional family drama
A masterful final performance from Richard Johnson crowns this authentic, bleak and unexpectedly funny film

Richard Johnson is mesmerising in his final lead role as the cantankerously debilitated father whose loving but long-suffering wife (Gemma Jones, exceptional) and estranged son (co-writer Daniel Cerqueira) struggle to care for him. Shot in the Cumbrian home of his late parents, co-writer Tom Browne’s directorial feature debut has an unmistakable air of authenticity that brings real pathos and heartache to some of the film’s bleakest moments. But there is a palpable warmth, too, in the dysfunctional family dynamics, while moments of unexpected laughter dispel the darker clouds of the past.

Radiator review – absorbing portrait of ageing and unhappiness
This intelligent, deeply personal work explores the often overlooked domestic lives of older people, to outstanding effect

Andrew Haigh’s 45 Years recently exploited the relatively unnoticed cinematic potential in the domestic lives of older people: the secret existences of a long marriage. Michael Haneke’s Amour, in its more exacting and terrifying way, did too.

Now this excellent debut from British writer-director Tom Browne approaches the same territory: an intimate, micro-budget drama which is absorbing, subtle and outstandingly acted. (Browne was the co-writer of Ben Hopkins’s The Nine Lives of Tomas Katz in 2000, and has had a substantial acting career under the name Tom Fisher.) His co-writer, Daniel Cerqueira, plays Daniel, a lonely middle-aged teacher in London, who receives a desperate telephone call from his elderly mother, Maria (Gemma Jones). His cantankerous and impossible father, Leonard (Richard Johnson), has evidently taken to lying on the downstairs couch, apparently stricken...

Exclusive Interview with Daniel Radcliffe - The Woman in Black
As the frost of winter puts a chills our spines, The Woman in Black aims to do the same. Based on Susan Hill’s 1983 novel, this is the second ghostly retelling produced this time by the legendary Hammer Film Productions—the same production house that brought many of our beloved genre classics staring the greats: Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing.

Taking the lead role this time is Daniel Radcliffe of Harry Potter fame. Dread Central was allowed a candid glimpse into Radcliffe’s method, desire to direct; as well as his thoughts on being in his first horror film and what it took to exude the “darkness” he needed.

Heather Buckley: Tell me about The Woman In Black.

Daniel Radcliffe: It’s a film about a young lawyer; his wife has died, he has become more and more disconnected from the world around him, his son, his life and his job,...
