- Long time presenter of the BBC TV programme "Record Breakers", based on the Guinness Book of World Records, and holder of several tap-dancing records.

- Four children: Norberto Castronuovo (aka "Daniel Castle") (born in 1965), Julia Castle (born in 1967), Antonia Castle (born in 1969) and Ben Castle (born in 1973).
