Clint Catalyst

Biography

Clint Catalyst

Edit

Overview

  • Born
    1971 · Jonesboro, Arkansas, USA

Biography

    • Clint Catalyst's foray into acting came somewhat by accident. It was at Skylight Books in Los Feliz that Catalyst -- a spoken word performer, published author with a "cult following," and alternative model who laughs off any reference to that portion of his past -- did a dramatic rendition that caught the attention of director Hilary Goldberg. She cast him for the role of Bell Wartock on the spot, a creepy character in a screenplay she'd recently written entitled "In The Spotlight." Upon its release in 2007, his performance brought about other opportunities in acting (and otherwise). Simply put, Catalyst is a hyper-hyphenate of "the new breed": utilizing all his talents and personality so that he's not 'just another individual' booked for a job, but an actual brand.

Quotes

  • The pen may be mightier than the sword, but a sharp outfit can slaughter an entire room in one fell swoop.
  • Why do I not want to be a journalist 'when I grow up'? Because I don't want to be objective. I want to be objectified.
  • Nothing in life is without strings. I mean, c'mon -- we're born with one: it's called the umbilical cord. And that's just where the fun begins...
