    • Cristina Carvalhal was born in Lisbon. In 1987 she graduated from Theatre at the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema. In the same year she entered on the play "A Dama do Maxim's" at the Teatro Aberto, and afterwards she entered on "A Rua", "Happy End", "O Suicidário", "O Hotel da Belavista", "Um Sabor a Mel", "Opera dos Três Vinténs", "Top Girls", "As Balcantes", "Odeio Hamlet", "Novos Confessionários", "Danças a um Deus Pagão", "Um Vestido para 5 Mulheres" and "Elanor Marx", among others. In cinema she entered movies such as "A Mala de Cartão", "Le Jour du Serpent", "Uma Cidade Qualquer", "Sinais de Fogo", "Adão e Eva", "Attends-moi", "2 Dragões", and already in 2000 she entered in a movie directed by Leonel Vieira, "A Bomba". In television outstand "Na Paz dos Anjos", "Desencontros", "Senhores Doutores" and "Jornalistas". In 1989 she was the Winner of the Revelation Award in Theatre of "Sete" in Romeo and Juliet and in 1993 Winner of the Female Interpretation Award in Theatre of "Sete" in "Um Sabor a Mel".
