- Pauline Carton was born on July 4, 1884 in Biarritz, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, France. She was an actress, known for Le Jour le plus long (1962), Ce cochon de Morin (1932) and Le nouveau testament (1936). She died on June 17, 1974 in Paris, France.
- Famous for her fantastic memory, she wrote two successful books of souvenirs: "Les Théâtres de Carton" and "Histoires de cinéma".
