Carone was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and raised in Los Angeles,
California. His practical production and post-production experience
dates back to age 10 when he would direct backyard short films with his
neighborhood friends. Carone was hired by Universal Studios immediately
after graduating from the University of Southern California (USC) to
work at Universal Creative in the media production group. In 2001,
Carone formed Planet C Studios to continue working on his own projects
as well as maintaining his working relationship with Universal.
