Melania Cârje is a Romanian film and theater actress.She was born on July 5, 1943 in Iasi, Romania. She graduated from Institute of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in 1965.In 1962, she plays first role in the movie Vacanta la mare.Other notable roles in films : Un surâs în plina vara (1963) ,Elixirul tineretii (1975) Am o idee (1981) .Play on the stage of the theater ''Teatrul de Comedie'' in Bucharest.Since 1981, she has emigrated to the United States.
