General Hospital Spoilers – A Taggert Sized-Hole In The Plot
The absence of Marcus Taggert has left a noticeable void in the show ever since actor Réal Andrews departed from the beloved soap opera.
The last time viewers caught a glimpse of Taggert was on July 19, 2023, during a heartfelt dinner with his daughter Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), where they shared their thoughts on the changes unfolding in their lives.

Mission: Impossible 2 marked a turning point for Tom Cruise, as he set out to make himself an action hero and performed impressive stunts. The rock climbing sequence in Mission: Impossible 2 was filmed with safety cables and a stuntman, although it still showcased Cruise's dedication to making things look real. Since Mission: Impossible 2, Cruise has continued to push the boundaries with death-defying stunts in subsequent Mission: Impossible movies, going to great lengths to thrill the audience.
Mission: Impossible 2 opens with a sequence of Tom Cruise rock climbing as superspy Ethan Hunt, and his ascent up a mountain with no safety cables leading to speculation if the stunt was real. Mission: Impossible 2 marked something of a turning point for Cruise. Before the sequel, the actor appeared in a variety of genres, with his star power alone often enough to make a given film a success. With Mission: Impossible 2,...

There are breathtaking stunts throughout the "Mission: Impossible" series, like when Tom Cruise rides a motorcycle off a cliff or climbs the Burj Khalifa, but "Mission: Impossible 2" — considered the weakest despite having the most subversive visuals — includes a memorable stunt on a much smaller scale. It's far more intimate but incredibly visceral.
On a sandy beach with the background of crashing waves, the hot-tempered villain Ambrose and Ethan Hunt engage in hand-to-hand combat. In the midst of their slamming punches and leaping kicks, Ambrose sneakily pulls out a knife. In a behind-the-scenes video, director John Woo describes Ambrose's combative approach as "evil" and "dirty." Woo came up with the choreography where "he jumps up in the air and lands on Tom and this knife almost cuts his face, and also pretty close to his eye." However, Tom Cruise — always committed to making the audience's moviegoing experience as thrilling as...

Tom Cruise's action franchise has become known for its spectacle, and these are Mission: Impossible's most dangerous stunts. The movies and their star have made a conscious effort in recent entries to raise the levels of danger to new heights. This has not only meant bigger threats for Ethan Hunt and the Imf with each new installment but the Mission: Impossible stunts have also continued to become more elaborate and death-defying. While the action movies feature plenty of actors who do their fair share of fighting and stunts, Tom Cruise is at the forefront of Mission: Impossible's most dangerous stunts.
The challenging action scenes performed in each new Mission: Impossible movie have become all the more impressive to watch thanks to a commitment from Cruise and the franchise's directors and stunt teams to do them practically. While even some Mission: Impossible stunts require help from CGI occasionally,...

Every week, IndieWire asks a select handful of TV critics two questions and publishes the results on Tuesday. (The answer to the second, “What is the best show currently on TV?” can be found at the end of this post.)
This week’s question: What is the best TV show airing in 2017 that people may have missed this year? This could be a new show that debuted or a returning show that aired a new season this year.
Allison Keene (@KeeneTV), Collider
There have actually been two “forgotten” shows in 2017 that I’ve stumped for pretty hard. The first is “Hap and Leonard’s” second season, “Mucho Mojo,” on SundanceTV. It’s nearly a sea change from its first season, as it tells a difficult and complicated racial story that’s balanced with its trademark wit and quirky sensibilities. It’s a tale that isn’t being told anywhere else right now — of neglected neighborhoods,...

Fox has handed out the first pilot order of the season today for a TV series based on Steven Spielberg's 2002 sci-fi feature Minority Report. We first reported on the project back in September, when Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment hired Godzilla screenwriter Max Borenstein to write the pilot script. Kevin Falls has signed on to serve as the showrunner and executive produce alongside Steven Spielberg, Max Borenstein and Amblin TV's Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey.
The original film Minority Report centered on the Precrime unit in Washington D.C., where three "precogs" can see crimes before they are committed. Tom Cruise starred as John Anderton, who leads the Precrime unit before one of the precogs sees him committing a murder, as Anderton goes on the lam to clear his name. The series will be set 10 years after the end of Precrime in D.C., where one of the Precogs...

Steven Spielberg has hired Godzilla writer Max Borenstein to create a TV series based on his 2002 sci-fi blockbuster Minority Report.
Minority Report starred Tom Cruise as Detective John Anderton, who runs the "Pre-Crime" unit in Washington D.C. that uses three psychics known as "precogs" to accurately predict crimes before they will happen, with arrests being made before the crime actually happens. The plot thickens when John is forced to go on the run after the precogs reveal he is about to commit murder.
The weekly series is said to focus on the elite Pre-Crime unit, with Steven Spielberg said to be eyeing a major star for the lead role, similar to how the producer lured Oscar winner Halle Berry to star in his CBS sci-fi series Extant.
20th Century Fox distributed Minority Report in 2002, which earned $358 million worldwide, but it's unclear whether or not the studio or the Fox...

Remember Dolly the sheep? Dolly was born in 1996 and represented a huge leap in scientific research as the first mammal successfully cloned from adult mammary cells. What if Dolly were a 40 foot long Tyrannosaurus rex? Universal Pictures, we have your script for the Jurassic Park reboot.
Australian billionaire Clive Palmer wants to do more than rebuild the Titanic (he’s actually doing that), he wants to convert his own Palmer Resort into a real-life Jurassic Park, and to do it, he’s begun chatting with the creators of Dolly, biologist Keith Campbell and embryologist Ian Wilmut.
While Rise of the Planet of the Apes writers Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver work away on the screenplay for Jurassic Park 4, a movie that producer Frank Marshall says is coming in 2014, Mr. Palmer wants to bring that idea to life, literally. While Palmer hasn’t directly shared his ideas with the public, a...
