Paramount Taps ‘Jackass’ Impresario Johnny Knoxville To First Look Deal
Johnny Knoxville at an event for Total Request Live (1998)
Breaking: Paramount Pictures has signed Johnny Knoxville and his Hello Junior banner to an exclusive 2-year first-look deal. This comes after Deadline revealed that he was brought in to voice Leonardo in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and it follows a long string of hits with the studio in the Jackass films and Bad Grandpa. Those Jackass films have earned $336 million globally and Bad Grandpa did just over $150 million worldwide. With the possible exception of Jackie Chan (who does all his own stunts), no actor has sacrificed his body and absorbed more onscreen punishment than Knoxville did in those Jackass films. Chan never took a paintball shot or numerous other projectile objects to the nutsack, which I recall seeing Knoxville do so often, in the name of comedy. Or been upended by a raging, charging bull, or been knocked unconscious by the over-sized boxer known as Butterbean, in a clothing store.

5 Worst Moments in WWE WrestleMania History
WrestleMania! The grandest stage of them all. The platform for wrestlers to leave their mark on the profession they love. Unfortunately for some wrestlers though, WrestleMania has been a platform to leave the wrong kind of mark.

Here’s our list of 5 of the worst, most embarrassing moments in the history of WrestleMania.

5. The Undertaker ‘Hangs’ Big Bossman (WrestleMania Xv)

Growing up myself and my sister always had a rivalry as to who was better. She foolishly thought The Undertaker was the greatest of all time (even then) while I knew the greatest wrestler on the WWF roster was The Big Bossman. Sadly the two legends paths never seemed to cross so we never resolved our feud. That was until they met at Wrestlemania Xv when they fought it out in possibly the shortest Hell in a Cell match ever … maybe Undertaker’s worst ‘Mania match ever? So how do...

Butterbean takes a slug at fellow ex-fighter Steven Seagal

Things got heavy -- literally -- during the TCA Cable Press Tour last week when Eric Esch (better known as the 400 pound heavyweight boxer Butterbean) took the stage to discuss his new series, "Big Law: Deputy Butterbean." In the reality TV show, Esch, who has been deputized by the Walker County Sheriff's office, partners with fellow deputy Adam Hadder to bust bad guys in and around his hometown of Jasper, Alabama. When one journalist wondered if Steven Seagal's short-lived show, "Steven Seagal: Lawman" was an inspiration, though, that idea was quickly smacked to the matt.  Though producer Lorri Leighton dodged...

Check out the Damage you can inflict in Fight Night Champion
Here's a grat collection of screenshots and a few trailers from the new boxing video game Fight Night: Champion show you the detailed realistic damage that you can inflict on your boxing oponent. I've always been a big fan of these Fight Night games, and it looks like they've once again taken it to a whole new level bloody boxing carnage.

The single-player mode is intended to recreate the dramatic and emotional aspects of the sport.

A new mode called "Champion Mode" will be featured in the game. It revolves around a storyline which follows a boxer named Andre Bishop. Most other modes, such as Legacy Mode (the career mode of the series) are expected to return.

EA is promising a refined physics-based animation system and a new "Full Spectrum Punch Control" scheme. There will also be a demo launching on both Xbox Live and Psn on the 1st of February.

As much fun as it is to watch the "Jackass" guys perform their seemingly never-ending multitude of crazy, unbelievably dangerous stunts, there have been serious repercussions. Namely: injuries.

" ['Jackass 3D'] was pretty competitive," Steve-o said, referring to the number of injuries sustained by castmembers. "I feel like we all got hospitalized at least a couple times. You, probably more than anybody," he said, speaking to Johnny Knoxville.

"Injuries just come along with it," Knoxville replied, not revealing any specifics. "It's just part of it."

Bam Margera, on the other hand, had no problem sharing his battle wounds.

"I got a broken clavicle, three broken ribs, a busted knee and then a [broken] foot," he said. "Honestly, half of the stunts that I got major hurt on will be...
