There have been many Chicago P.D. roster changes over 12 seasons, and now another series regular is handing in their badge. While previous reports stated all One Chicago leads will return for the 2025-2026 season, only Jason Beghe’s name was on the list for Chicago P.D. As it turns out, the Chicago P.D. cast is getting smaller after all.

As reported by Variety, Toya Turner is leaving her role as Kiana Cook on Chicago P.D. after just one season. Kiana joined the Intelligence Unit in Chicago P.D. season 12, replacing Tracy Spiridakos’ Hailey Upton after her season 11 departure. Confirming her own exit ahead of Chicago P.D. season 13, Turner said goodbye in an Instagram post on Thursday, writing:

Actress Sophia Bush alleged she was was on the receiving end of “every kind of abusive” treatment while filming a television show.

The One Tree Hill veteran made the claims during an episode of Monica Lewinsky’s podcast Reclaiming that was released Tuesday.

While Bush did not name the show, she gave several context clues (such as the date she left the series) so that one might assume she was talking about her years on NBC’s hit procedural Chicago P.D., where she played Detective Erin Lindsay. She left the show after 84 episodes and has previously described it as a grueling experience.

“I was in this great place [after One Tree Hill], and I was ready for what was next,” Bush said. “And I did this comedy that I loved … for CBS. Then I went to work on this other show that was on my bucket list and then I had this whole other trauma.

For several weeks now, we’ve been reporting on the persistent rumors that Barack and Michelle are headed for divorce.

While neither party commented on the situation directly, there seemed to be numerous signs that something had changed within the Obamas’ marriage.

For starters, Barack made numerous solo public appearances at a time when he must have already caught wind of the rumors.

Observers figured that he must have known how the public would react, and the move might therefore be his subtle way of confirming that he and Michelle were headed for Splitsville.

But during a recent appearance on Sophia Bush’s podcast, Michelle quashed the divorce rumors.

If you don’t know, the couple has been facing rumors of a split after not being together at some public events.

Chicago Pd has been doing well, but it just hasn’t been the same since losing certain characters! We take a look at the five we miss the most.

When a show runs 12 seasons, it’s only natural to shed some names in the cast. Chicago Pd hasn’t seen as much of a huge cast turnover since the first year but has lost a few characters as it went. Some aren’t too big; Sean Roman had a nice presence but was not important overall, while Vanessa Rojas only lasted one season and was forgettable.

Then, there are some major characters who brought true heart and power to the show. They were amazingly popular with the fans and often felt like the backbone of the series and its drama. Their departures all affected the show, and while it’s gone on, it seems something was lost with those gone.

We have been waiting a long, long time to see Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) get married. They have had a very bumpy road to the altar, but they have persevered, and we couldn't be happier for them. Unfortunately, a lot of the friends they've made along the way have left Chicago Pd.

Chicago Fire and Chicago Med have proven that weddings are as good a reason as any to bring back beloved characters. We saw Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer) return in order to serve as the best man for his buddy, Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney), on Fire, and we're hoping Chicago Pd uses their big union to do something similar. These are the characters we have on our fantasy guest list.

Hacks and Heartstopper just picked up major hardware at the 2025 GLAAD Media Awards.

The 36th annual event took place on March 27 in Los Angeles, with the winners being announced in 33 categories including film and television. Hosted by Shrinking star Michael Urie, this star-studded gala honors the best in lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer media. The awards show will stream April 12 on Hulu.

TV shows that won big on Thursday night include Hacks (comedy series), 9-1-1: Lone Star (drama series), Agatha All Along (new series), Baby Reindeer (limited series), The Real Housewives of New York City (reality program), RuPaul’s Drag Race (competition program), and Heartstopper (kids & family program).
