  • Contributed with camera work on three films that were nominated for the Best Picture Oscar: Délivrance (1972), Le Parrain (1972) and Vol au-dessus d'un nid de coucou (1975), with the latter two being winners in the category.
  • At the time of his death, he was the oldest living Oscar nominee.
