Award-winning actor/director Ursula Burton wrote, directed, and produced the comedy The Happiest Day of His Life, which won a Viewer's Choice Award on MTV's Logo Channel, and qualified for the Academy Awards. With her production company, Five Sisters Productions, she has made numerous features, commercials, and PSAs, as well as short films which explore her interests in gender, equality, and representation. As an actor, she has worked on stage, in film, and on TV including roles in Manna From Heaven (MGM/SONY), Curb Your Enthusiasm, and The Office. Burton graduated from Yale University, is a founding member of the YaleWomen Council, and was selected for the Alliance of Women Directors CAP Industry Support Program as well as the AWD Television Shadowing Program.
