He had exited Amazon in February after a decade and his appointment at Italy-based animation house Rainbow comes at a crucial time following investment from Tec Movie, an indie vehicle formed by members of The Equity Club, which operates on behalf of ultra-high net-worth individuals connected to Mediobanca. The cash injection was part of a plan to expand internationally. Azzani, a 20-year industry veteran, led Prime Video between 2021 and 2025, having previously joined as Country Manager for Audible. To me, the idea of getting trapped and potentially dying in a porta potty is one of the most unsettling "what ifs?" out there when it comes to bathrooms (and it's why I've always considered Stephen King's "A Very Tight Place" to be one of the scariest things he's ever written), so I'm especially creeped out by our exclusive clip from Lukas Rinker's feature debut, Holy Shit!

Writer and director Quentin Tarantino is an avid film fan who famously pays homage to his favorite genre films in his own work, but for "Inglourious Basterds," he drew from his own filmography as well.

While "Basterds" is clearly inspired by numerous war films and Nazi exploitation movies like "Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS," Tarantino also loosely pulled from several of his previous films. I recently watched Man On A Ledge for the first time but the title for it seemed a bit misleading. Yes, there was a man on a ledge but less than half of the movie seemed to be about and feature that man on the ledge. Now, although not 100 of Holy Shit! (aka Ach du Scheisse!) is focused on this one guy, it would still justify being titled ‘A Man In A Portaloo’.

I actually really enjoy single-location movies, maybe even more so when that location is very small. Whether it be Buried starring Ryan Reynolds, Phone Booth starring Colin Farrell or a movie more similar to Holy Shit! – the low-budget zombie movie Stalled, which takes place almost entirely in a toilet cubicle.

The latest movie given to us by NBC Universal to review from the iTunes library is Quentin Tarantino’s Basterds, that would be in the Inglourious ones! Inglourious Basterds is one of the movies of 2009 for me. I saw an advanced preview of the movie and was desperate to see it again but for some reason that took me about six months to do! Unfortunately life gets in the way and so do many many other movies which meant that I didn’t get to watch it until I had some time over Christmas and the second viewing was better than the first!

If Quentin Tarantino were a pro-wrestler, his name would be Grisly Von Bloody-Mirth. His signature move would be the Laughing Kill-Shot, a move so witty and violent that it inspires laughs rather than humane shock. The move was used in Pulp Fiction when Marvin, a hapless captive of Vincent (John Travolta) and Jules (Samuel L. Jackson), was shot in the face and, again, in every film he has done. It’s no different in his latest feature, Inglourious Basterds. Tarantino’s long-suffering World War II opus, inspired by Italian director Enzo Castellari’s 1978 B-movie Inglorious Bastards, stars Brad Pitt, Christoph Waltz, Mélanie Laurent and Daniel Brühl in a revenge fantasy about a rag-tag group made up of mostly Jewish-Americans who enact merciless operations against Nazi soldiers.

The moviemaker introduced sex toy 'Big Jerry' on the first day of shooting and then posted pictures of sleeping stars like Brad Pitt and Diane Kruger, with the dildo, on a daily Board of Shame.

Actor Michael Fassbender admits he was one of the only castmates not to make the board - because he found ways of sleeping in secret.

Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds premiered at the Cannes Film Festival this week, yet according to Variety's Thompson on Hollywood the filmmaker may make a few more alterations to his WWII film:

Brad and Angelina seemed happy, as did an ebullient Quentin Tarantino, although Twc's 50/50 partner on the picture, Universal, Update: is talking to the filmmaker about returning to the editing room post-Cannes to make some trims edits that might include adding a scene, says Tarantino, who reminds that the film, at two hours 27 minutes, is well under his contractual final cut length of two hours 48 minutes.

Quentin Tarantino has begun production on his exploitation/war epic Inglorious Bastards. Now, that's the last time I can use the correct spelling of those words in connection with this film, because Qt spells it Inglourious Basterds, an artistic decision (or editing omission) for which I find I have a very low tolerance.

Anyway, Basterds is currently filming, and enjoy this Love Boat-sized ensemble: Brad Pitt, Diane Kruger, Mélanie Laurent, Christoph Waltz, Daniel Brühl, Eli Roth, Samm Levine, B.J. TrekMovie claims it will be a "real trailer" with actual "footage from the film." Imagine that! If it does indeed premiere in November, the most likely place for it will be before Quantum of Solace on November 14th. In a related piece, Abrams has confirmed the running time to be about two hours.
