Biography

    • Martin Buch was born November 4th, 1968 Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark. He now lives in Copenhagen. Since the graduation from Aarhus Theatre School (1996) Martin was freelancing at several theaters including the Royal Danish Theatre. In 2002 he starred in 'Fukssvansen' and was nominated a Danish Academy Award for Best Actor it led to the his next success. 'This Charming Man' won an Oscar for Best Short Film, Live Action in 2003 starring Martin as Lars Hansen. With friend and colleague Rasmus Botoft he made the radio show 'The Cavalry' for DR - the Danish Broadcast Corporation it was a success and they turned it into live shows and soon was asked to make it as a television show. With Rasmus Botoft and director Peter Harton he wrote and played various roles in the two seasons both acclaimed by critics and latest winning a Danish Academy Award for 'Best Short Format Television Show.
