Leonardo Silva Brício was born July 7, 1963 to Paulo and Liza Brício. He has a twin sister named Patricia and 3 older brothers: Guilherme, Alexandre and Eduardo. Leonardo started acting an a very young age. He studied with Maria Clara Machado at "O Tablado", a very famous drama school in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Leonardo majored in Industrial Design, but dropped out of school a year before graduation to pursue his acting career. He became a director in 2003 and directed "Deus Danado" with Júnior Sampaio and "José, e Agora?" (He worked solo).
