  • Once had his neck broken when Chris Benoit back body dropped him onto his head. This event gave Benoit the nickname "The Crippler."
  • Defeated Terry Funk in a Barbed Wire match to win the ECW Title in mid-1997
  • He was of Lebanese, German, and Irish descent. He named himself after Sabu of whom his uncle, Edward Farhat was a fan.
  • In a barb-wire match against the legendary Terry Funk, Sabu suffered a deep gash to his bicep from the barbed wire. He ended up taping the wound up and then continued and won the match. He also refused to miss a single match while recuperating the injury. His threshold for pain is beyond compare.
