    • Tom Brown was born on January 6, 1915 in New York City, New York, USA. He was an actor, known for Les cadets de la mer (1937), Madame et son clochard (1938) and Deux nigauds démobilisés (1947). He was married to Barbara Grace Gormley and Natalie Draper. He died on June 3, 1990 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.

Trivia

  • A childhood model from the age of two, he was the Arrow Collar Boy, the Buick Boy and the model for Buster Brown shoes. Began in silent films from the age of ten, later playing juvenile leads in collegiate movies and romances.
  • Enlisted in the US Army in World War II and served as a paratrooper. He also served during the Korean War with the 40th Infantry Div., where he reached the rank of lieutenant colonel.
  • When he was nine years old, he was reported in a newspaper for saving a young woman from drowning.
  • Had a recurring role as a rancher on Gunsmoke (1955) for several years.
  • Has three children, two sons (Tuttle and Chris) and one daughter (Cathleen).
