- Katharina Brauren was born on April 21, 1910 in Frankfurt (Oder), Brandenburg, Germany. She was an actress, known for Madame Bovary (1937), Les chats de novembre (1986) and Fremde, liebe Fremde (1991). She was married to Konrad Mayerhoff. She died on December 25, 1998 in Ahrensburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.

- Stage and screen character actress. Member of the ensemble of the Hamburger Kammerspielen from 1945 to 1953. Best known as a voice actress on Europa recordings of radio plays and fairy tales from the early 1970's.
