    • Bob Braun was born on April 20, 1929 in Ludlow, Kentucky, USA. He was an actor, known for 58 Minutes pour vivre (1990), Rendez-vous au paradis (1991) and Une Famille Formidable (1992). He was married to Wray Jean Wilkinson. He died on January 15, 2001 in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.

Trivia

  • Suffering from Cancer and Parkinsons disease, he returned to WSAI radio in Cincinnati to host a morning show...the same station he interned at 50 years before. Because of his immense popularity in Cincinnati and the surrounding area, his funeral in 2001 was simulcast on local TV and radio
  • In the 50s and 60s co-hosted a regional TV show, broadcast in Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus, Ohio, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Lexington and Louisville, Kentucky; a noon time show called the 50-50 Club. Braun took over as host and continued it through the 70s and 80s until it was canceled.
  • Recorded several albums. Had a 1962 Top 40 hit "Til Death Do Us Part"
  • Recognized mostly as the TV spokesman for the Craft-Matic adjustable bed through the 80s and 90s
  • His son is Rob Braun, a popular TV newscaster in Cincinnati.
