Sashka Bratanova (Alexandra Nikolova Bratanova) is a Bulgarian actress. She was born in Svishtov, Bulgaria on September 23, 1950. She graduated from National Academy for Theatre" and Film Art, Sofia, Bulgaria in 1972 in the class of Professor Grisha Ostrovsky . Then she began to play in Burgas Drama Theater , and later - in the Theater "Sofia" . In 1992, she went on the stage of the Little City Theatre "Off the Channel" . Sashka Bratanova is a daughter of the composer Nikolai Bratanov and the musical activist Nadezhda Evgenieva Volyn-Bratanova. In her childhood the actress is constantly on the road with their parents, because Nikolai Bratanov is an active military musician and player of CSKA and her family often traveled due to the commitments of the father. In 1986, the actress became a mother of twins Vyara and Nadezhda, who are born of a romantic relationship with the actor Rashko Mladenov . Parents do not live together and the children grow up with the mother. Sashka Bratanova has taken participation in more than 20 Bulgarian movies.
