Percy Brandt was a Swedish actor, born on November 7, 1922 in Lahore, Punjab, British India. He is best known for his legendary performances as the father in Swedish playwright Lars Noréns "Modet att döda", "Natten är dagens mor" and "Kaos är granne med Gud". All three made for television in the 1908's. Percy Brandt made his film debut 1950 in "Anderssonskans Kalle". During his active years 1950-94 he appeared in 43 feature films and television productions. Percy Brandt was prominent actor in the theatre as well. He was married to the actress Else-Marie Brandt (1923-2014) for 62 years. Their daughter Paula Brandt is also actress.
