    • Big Boy was born on June 1, 1943 in Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He was an actor and art director, known for A Marca da Ferradura (1971), A Herdeira Rebelde (1972) and Amor em Quatro Tempos (1970). He died on March 7, 1977 in Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

  • He was known for his slangy, irreverent language and introduced many international rock bands in his program in the "Rádio Eldorado FM" (current "Rádio FM 98", of Rio de Janeiro) and "Rádio Mundial AM" (current "Rádio CBN AM", of Rio de Janeiro), during the 1960s and 1970s. He also had a musical section in news program Jornal Hoje and a whole weekly program called Sábado Som, both in Globo TV.
  • The most famous and influential Brazilian radio host and DJ of all time. He has received, from both critics and public, the status of a legend for his innovative work with young audiences.
