    • St. Clair Bourne was born on February 16, 1943 in New York City, New York, USA. He was a producer and director, known for John Henrik Clarke: A Great and Mighty Walk (1996), American Masters (1985) and Something to Build On (1971). He was married to Linda Miller and Sylvia Azure Walton. He died on December 15, 2007 in Brooklyn, New York, USA.

  • Prior to his untimely death in 2007, St. Clair Bourne had agreed to join the documentary film project Brushes With(out) Fame as a Director. Mr. Bourne was not only an associate of Producer Don Mizell, but also a friend of the uncle of Producer Ruth Rachel Anderson-Avraham, Dr. Bernard Bradley Anderson, brother-in-law to L.A. Rebellion filmmaker Haile Gerima.
  • In 1989 he was shopping around a script trying to raise $25MM to make his first fiction film. The subject was Amistad. He discussed the project with Debbie Allen who brought the idea to Steven Spielberg.
