Edit
  • Trivia
In 1928, Tui wed friend Clara Bow's widowed father, Robert Bow (reportedly at Clara's insistence), in order to be able to remain in the United States, having entered without a passport or visa. Thus, she technically became Clara's stepmother despite the two women being about the same age. Robert and Tui divorced in July 1929 on grounds of mental cruelty.
