May Boss(1924-2015)

Stuntwoman May Boss was born on October 7, 1924 in New York. May was a trick rider in the rodeo circuit prior to entering the film industry in the early 1950's heyday of Hollywood Westerns. Among the notable actresses that Boss doubled for are Bette Davis, Rita Hayworth, Sandra Dee, Doris Day, Leslie Caron, and Dorothy Malone. Her career as a stuntwoman spanned five decades. Sadly, May's health declined after suffering a stroke in 2008. The mother of stuntman Clay Boss, Boss died at age 90 on September 16, 2015 in Mission Viejo, California.
