Executive. Hands-on producer. Creative director. Consultant. Be it bringing public awareness via a sizzle reel, creating and implementing a marketing campaign, focusing on the creative side with a trailer, TV spot or one-sheet for a film or television series, or leading a crew to a remote location to capture the story, Rich has done the job.

He has produced trailers, promos, spots and reels. His work includes projects with marquee talent such as Steven Spielberg, Spike Lee, Ridley Scott, Coen Brothers and Judd Apatow. He also works on targeted niche projects including many faith-based and specialty films where branding and positioning are crucial including the films "The 5TH Quarter," "The Way," "Nitro Circus," "happythankyoumoreplease," "For Greater Glory," the documentaries "I Ain't Scared: A Tribute to Bernie Mac," a look at the rock band The Police in "I Can't Stand Losing You," the life of polarizing personality Andrew Breitbart in "Hating Breitbart" as well as the acclaimed television special "Desert Runners."

Awards shows turn to him for production of highlight and tribute reels. He has produced web series' including a 7-parter on the Hendrix biopic starring Andre Benjamin and directed by John Ridley, "Jimi: All is by My Side" and long-form documentaries for such outlets as DirecTV.

Alongside this array of accomplishments, Rich has produced a steady stream of pieces for such entities as ESPN, Dlife-TV (which aired on CNBC), MSN, news channel AJZ-America and the History Channel. For ESPN's morning show, he handled many of the west coast production remotes and produced a number of pieces on such varying topics and personalities as The Fleecing of the Fan, the film "The Longest Yard," Irish Mini Rally -- Cork to Dublin, billion dollar business of Fantasy Football, NBA All-Star Weekend, and the Breeders Cup. For DLife, a long-running show geared toward Diabetes education, his subjects included quarterback Jay Cutler, the secret Diabetes battle of Jackie Robinson, and renowned guitarist Leslie West.

He has traveled the world shooting pieces for major studios and independent companies including projects for Disney, Warner Bros. and Universal, interviewing a vast array of stars and personalities along the way - Magic Johnson, ESPN's Michael Wilbon, best-selling author Robert B. Parker, former White House physician Dr. Connie Mariano and Oscar winners Dustin Hoffman and Matthew McConaughey, among them.

Beginning his career as a sports reporter for the Long Beach, CA Press-Telegram and contributing pieces for various news magazines and outlets, he transitioned to the studios with stints at Warner Bros. Television, Paramount Pictures, the Samuel Goldwyn Company and Robert Redford's Sundance Channel. He has spearheaded Emmy and Oscar recognized projects, helped introduce audiences to then unknowns -- director Ang Lee, actor/director Kenneth Branagh, director Anthony Minghella and actress Julia Roberts, and headed the launch of the American Gladiators' series, helping bring that into the American lexicon. For Sundance Channel, Mr. Bornstein combined his knowledge of independent film and television serving as both consultant and creative contributor.

A graduate of UC Santa Barbara, Mr. Bornstein is the recipient of the Maxwell Weinberg Publicist Showmanship Award and a member of the Academy of Arts and Sciences.
