Elizabeth Rivera-Bootzin (along with husband Dan Bootzin) are filmmaking partners who have worked on numerous projects together.

Their first collaboration was on the short comedic film "Six Point Nine", winner of the prestigious Golden Bear for Best Short Film at the Berlin Film Festival. "Six Point Nine" was also invited to numerous festivals, including Sundance, Telluride, Toronto, etc. It went on to win critical acclaim and was invited to play for Prince Albert of Monaco as one of "America's Best Shorts".

They collaborated again (as writers, producers and director) on the independent feature film, "Apartment 12", a romantic comedy starring a young and unknown Mark Ruffalo. The film won Best Feature at the Birmingham Film Festival, and Best Director at the Phoenix Film Festival, and received domestic and international television and video distribution.

Elizabeth worked together with Dan as an Editor for many years at Venice Beach Editorial, the In-house Editorial Department of Advertising Agency, TBWA/CHIAT in Los Angeles, where they worked on numerous National and International Award-winning television campaigns.

Elizabeth played an instrumental editorial role on the Emmy Award-winning Apple commercial, "Think Different" (featuring B&W images of historical figures), which not only launched Apple into the spotlight when Steve Jobs took helm again at Apple Computer, but became even more famous when it paid tribute to Jobs when he passed away.

Elizabeth and Dan have collaborated on several documentary projects (one about Elizabeth's family of funeral directors in New Mexico and the other about Dan's health icon father and original nature boy, Gypsy Boots).

Besides directing documentaries and commercials, Elizabeth has also (through their company Los Feliz Films) collaborated with partners Dan Bootzin and Ric Torres II to develop "SON OF A JUDGE!", a Latino-themed television sitcom.
